I doubled, opponent took. I rolled immediate 4-2 to leave a shot, but he missed. I ended up leaving a shot on the three later, with six checkers off, which he hit. He then later cashed when he had three off and three checkers each on 1-4.

My rationale was it was too gammonish for him to take for the match. I don't get gammoned since I get one off for sure -- and I'm not taking a re-ship if I'm hit.
