Thanks for the background.

I've been wondering whether U.S. tournament players should be enfranchised to vote, not just USBGF members. I'm a member, but the BG community is bigger than the USBGF membership. And membership is not a prerequisite to tournament participation. For that matter, a member who never plays in a tournament has more voting privileges on tournament rules that an active but non-member tournament player.

Or maybe the vast majority of tournament players are members and the question is moot.

Oh, and what's the deal with Montreal being on the American tour? I have no objections, just curious.
