there are several sets of escalators, you have to know the right route

leaving from the Fairmont you walk up the one street from the hairpin curve to the next corner, enter the lowest level of the mall there, there are two sets of escalators inside; then you exit the mall and there is another escalator up to the street level

there is another escalator in the parking garage between the church and the car dealership (if you know where they're at -- only directly in front of the Diana) that takes you up to the Diana level
