"Btw I never really digested the logic of dividing by 2. If your error rate mEMG is 10 then why divide it by 2 to get a "PR"? Just call your error rate "PR" and you are done. Everybody would then know that PR 10 means 10 mEMG error rate!"
This was in Snowie where unforced moves counted as decisions, it was done in this way because I think at the begining it was easier to compare. I agree it doesn't make so much sense but we are used to have a reference. I would compare with what happened in UE with Euro, for many years still the old curency was used in the thinking process. My opinion is that should be clearly 2 different PRs, one for moves and one for cube where adjustements takes place and also missed doubles in sequence and number of decisions in post Crawford sometimes can have a big impact. The first one should be the most important,the number of decisions is by far bigger.
