The American team is strong. The internationals are weak. Not enough good, international players to make it exciting.

I predict that it will be a lot closer in the future when the Koreans and Chinese have had a little more time to produce WC players. Just look at what is happening on the LPGA tour. I imagine that it's just a matter of time before we will see a bunch of super strong (and super boring) Asians on the PGA tour.
