I'm with Bill all the way here.

If we (worldbackgammon) had a common website/communication method which promoted upcoming commentated highprofile players matches to be streamed i'd be a fair chance to set the alarm and wake up to watch it. Seeded draws all the better - we will know when they are likely to be on.

Wild horses wouldn't have kept me from Carter v Stacy if i knew it was on, even on twitch or ustream (yuks).

Has to be good for the game - promote the stars. We have them lets use em.

Those doing the technical aspects of the streaming should not also be responsible for selecting the matches and doing the stream promotion. Their task is tough and time critical enough. The fact that this forum was/still is? the main notification method is not sufficient.
