Hitting with bar/22* seems a lot better than entering on the 20 point. If we do that, then the choice is 20/15, 13/8, or 6/1

Making the ace leaves the fewest shots but seems anti-positional. I won't be surprised if that's the bot move, but I'm not playing it. Blue picks up 30 pips with the hitting play, so racing seems thematic. That means 20/15. With 16 dancing rolls, blue will be able to spring one of his runners, and if hit on the ace stands to make an advanced anchor.

Breaking the midpoint destroys connectivity so I don't like that play. I didn't count shots. Maybe there's something about this position that makes the rule-of-thumb play wrong, but bar/22* 20/15 seems the most thematic, so I'll play that.
