Blue has a shot at a backgammon, which will win the match for blue. Further, getting down to 6 checkers still leaves blue a favourite to win as long as white gets only one hit.

Rip two. Lesson learned last week from Nack Ballard.... the backgammon can have substantial weight at odd-away/Crawford.
