It looks the contact's worth about 7.5% (Blots with 8/36 gets hit 1:3 so the 7.5% derived from Matussek seems pretty accurate)

But a hit is far from a sure win, so you can't just use full 7.5% as a contact value. Contact value meaning additional GWC given by the presence of contact (versus a non-contact race).
