Put a clock on all matches and leave the game alone !!!!

I really get tired of all the people wanting to change a great game.

Do you realize that your first two statements contradict each other. ABT rules do not demand clocks on all matches. Yet, you want to change a great game by clocking all matches. Clocking the game does change its dynamics.

Passion is great. We share a passion for our favorite game. As previously stated, we agree more than we disagree. You apparently see the need for some changes. We all want the same thing -- Increase popularity of backgammon. Any debate differences in how to accomplish our mutual goal may help find the best solution. Debate difference hopefully will not generate anger. Yet, debate should instill passion in those who love the game.
