In Response To: Tourney resistance to computer improvements (Bill Riles)

Bill wrote, "Give it up, slow play is detrimental to the game."

Neil replies, "Over 25 years ago, I recall reading in one of that era's colorful BG mags, a quote from one of the leading players of the day, who when asked about the decline of the mid 70's BG boom, stated that slow play has driven more people away from the game than anything else"
