First thought - we're down in the race, so just hit. If we hit, I count 25 return shots, of which only 7 doesn't hit our 5pt blot, while we're outboarded. Also, 33 is a killer, and 11 - a semi-killer. That's a lot. But the alternative of 8/3 5/3 leads to a semi-primed 3pt game, with undeveloped midpoint stack. Hard to say what is worse. If I'm not sure, I just go with the first rule-of-thumb thought, so I'd hit OTB, equalizing the race.

If it happens to be close as I think it is, the cube might be deciding here. In my eyes, hitting leads to some overkills by White, while staying on the weak 22pt anchor leads often to some efficient cubes. So centered cube position pushes the hit-now play up, I think.
