A nice reference position. At first glance I was looking to lock down some of my outfield blots / contain.

Yes, I was surprised by the hit, but it makes total sense considering if he somehow escapes, he's won the race (and the whole match).

Plus switching from 5 to 2 gives more immediate covers for the new blot on the 5 if missed next roll.
