Blue is behind in the race, has an advanced anchor, and white has a homeboard blot. That says bold is the way to go. So, the hit is obvious.

Where to play the deuce? 10/8 is the chicken play. 11/9 is my gut. 8/6 aims four builders at the five instead of three, but leaves two additional shots. Is it worth the risk? I think so, since nothing hits and covers which means blue has 11 shots at the blot on the four, plus maybe a few others depending on which blot gets hit. And then there are the 16 dancing numbers...
