To my friends who don't really know/understand bg I often get questions like "Stick, what's happening, you were #X in the world 2 years ago and now you're dropped all the way to #Y!?" I try to explain to them that there are probably, and I've never crunched the actual numbers, maybe 10 people tops who are what I consider 'the best players in the world' and then there are, again, in my opinion, 'everyone else'.

So yes, to me there are definitely very top Giants and other Giants even though they're all on the same G32 list. I usually give the example of tennis players where sure, there are the top 10 tennis players in the world but they really don't matter. There's the top 3 (arguably top 5 if you wanted to include Stan and Andy but they're still nowhere near the top 3) and then there's everyone else. Are those who comprise the 'everyone else' in tennis still damn impressive? Sure...but they're no Federer, no Nadal, no Djokovic.
