No, what I think is that usually market losers and winning percentages go hand in hand. Secondly assuming this ends to an effective backgame then AtS you don't need the standard percentage out of 1296 market losing sequences to redouble. E.g in races at far away scores you can have an initial Double at as low as 10% market losing sequences. Think of it this way: Assuming the game would turn out to 40-60 with 20% vs 55% gammons. Clearly white's Match winning chances are <40% because of the gmmmons. The redouble brings it to 40% sharp hence a clear gain in equity.

We may after that do a 1296 search to find out how many the market losing sequences were.I won't be surprised if they would in turn be in the 10% region.
