Another + some random large number from me. I promised myself after Bill's (Patterson, not Riles) last reply to me on another thread that I would not respond to him again, but this time he's just being downright rude and not helpful at all.
I looked at the images from the Nordic Open, and I love streams with live transcription (if you have someone who can keep up with the match live). In the spirit of "be part of the solution and not part of the problem", I downloaded OBS tonight and started to play around with it. I overlayed a camera shot of a board I set up on my kitchen table with some portions of an XG analysis screen and I streamed this to twitch for a minute or two. It looked like this:
I'm sure the people who do the Nordic streams are doing something like this. With the XG overlay, you might be able to increase the size of the board because XG shows the score, making it unnecessary to show the scoreboard on the table.
Again, only for the case where you have live transcription happening, and it does come with the downside of having the shrink the size of the board.
Have an appreciation for what these people do. It's not a simple thing to do right.
