Looks like a fairly standard five-point holding game, unless I'm missing something. In a straight race blue would need a 9 pip lead to double and it would be a cash at 13 pips. With 20 pips it's a clear D/P without contact but white will hang on for several rolls and build her board while waiting for a shot.

Which is to say that I'm on the fence for the take. It should be fairly easy for white (i.e. not many tough checker play decisions) so I'm be inclined to take against a stronger player and hope for good dice. Blue should also have a fairly easy time of it, which would make me inclined to pass against a weaker player.

I'll say take since blue's board is not so strong and white's should be strong about when blue is forced to leave a shot. Not sure, so I'll say ship it even though most sequences don't alter things much (i.e. if it's a take now it will probably still be a take next roll)
