1. I appreciate the additional comments and insights by both Stick and Casper (and anyone else). They are helpful and insightful.

2. Remember, Marty was doing his analysis on the fly and under the same kind of pressure we have over the board...he had time constraints and did not have the benefit of study.

3. The two of you and the rest of us had time to think about both Marty's comments and your own perspectives, time to check XG's answers, and then come up with your thoughts. I GUARANTEE you that if I sent these positions to Marty and asked him to write up his analysis they would have been better, but that was not my goal in doing this....my goal was to see how a great player like Marty approaches these problems over the board. I am sure that he, and you, do not cover everything over the board that you do when writing about it.

4. I also noticed he missed the pip count by a pip, and I think that illustrates something important....you don't have to be perfect with the count unless you are doubling.
