There are three scenarios: (1) Hit/fan is a pretty big market loss, but that only happens 20X25 =500/1296; (2)Hit/enter only loses the market by a little when two checkers escape the prime on the hit and the enter is not 1-1 so you can probably throw out this scenario, more or less; (3) A failure to hit leaves White a favorite and wishing he had beavered on 16/36 = 576/1296 and two of those rolls are brutal, 4-4 is probably a recube and 3-3 is too good to redouble. Risk/reward favors a non-double, with 500 good rolls and 576 bad rolls and the magnitudes being roughly similar. I can't see anyone passing this, but then again, I have seen some strange cube action.
