6/off 6/4 is the obvious play. It leaves no immediate shots and no forced blots next roll. OTOH, white's board is in shambles and that indicates a trap play.
6/off 2/off? White will be forced to hit over half the time and most of the time remain on the bar while blue gets a shot at a third checker.
The thing is, by going to a four point board white will be harder to contain and therefore harder to gammon. I don't think 6/off 2/off is the right idea.
6/off 4/2? I won't be surprised if that's the bot play, and I'll be equally unsurprised if white throws a 66 after that play. But 66 is a great roll anyway, so that argues for making that play. OTOH, 6x followed by another 6x is also bad, but that's true regardless of whether blue plays safe of not, and being hit gives blue a chance to put white back on the bar.
Does that outweigh the sure-thingedness of 6/off 6/4? I'm not sure, so I'll make the normal play.
