Stick, what do you think of his chances at the French this year? (Assuming he were to decide to enter.)

Specifically, his revamped game (taking balls earlier, hardly ever retreating from baseline). It sure works -- three recent majors and five consecutive wins over Nadal. But can that style work on clay? Can one serve / volley on clay? I understand clay is "slower" but why does that make serve / volley less attractive?

(I'm on the RF pilgrimage this year -- I'll see the exhibition in San Jose and then I have three days (4th round and Quarters) at Indian Wells. Excited.)
