Hi!

Backgammon Studio isn't so much about the PR from matches but rather from positions in these matches. Currently 2799556 positions can be found in the database. BMAB has a primary focus on PR performances in controlled circumstances so if you are looking for really trustworthy PR performances this is where you should look.

Maybe it would be possible to identify who transcribed/who submitted perhaps 2000 of the matches in the database. It would be a massive effort to tag all these with the correct transcribed/submitter and then what? Make a list from only these matches? I don't see the real value in doing this as it would be such a limited amount of the total number of matches in the database.

For more reliable PR list you'll have to take a look at the online match champ list. Then again online match play has its own set of problems with the possibility of cheating (3 players have so far been removed from the list). The last 100 list is especially interesting!
