Hi Terje,
The reason I brought this up is because I've seen you post a PR ranking list from live matches submitted to BG Studio multiple times on Facebook and considering that the cherry picking is allowed when people submit you their own matches and that there is no real control (as you yourself admit) I am not sure what's the point of publicly posting such potentially unreliable list. As you say yourself, BG Studio's focus isn't on PR, but other cool features that all of us very much enjoy.
Obviously, it's your brainchild and you can do what you want with it. I was just hoping we could have a reliable real life PR list that isn't just BMAB. It's not same when you play a BMAB event where you can play exclusively for PR or when you're live streamed in an important tournament match where only winning matters. Would be very interesting (at least to me) to see how people perform under these circumstances compared to their BMAB performances.
What I propose is very simple; when someone submits you their own matches (or any other matches) just add that small piece of info in the match description (submitted by: XY). I know it's not easy to check all old matches, but for sure you have data on what users submitted what matches?! Heck, when I had few unsuccessful logins to my account you immediately sent me an e-mail asking if I needed help. You know everything man. ;) It's just matter of whether you care about it or not.
Anyway, I will stop now because I don't want this to turn into criticism of your otherwise awesome site. I guess I'll just have to accept that my simple proposal won't see the light of the day. :(
