Let me try to understand this. So basically if the leader holds the 2-cube at 8-a/8-a, he shouldn't redouble if he has considerable gammons chances while being already close to (but not over) the cash point of ~65% GWC (nevermind if it's the correct number right now)? Because he sort of kills his own gammons by recubing? Well technically it's the opp who can almost instantly kill them by rerecubing for the match (but chooses not to do so just yet)?
Something like at 2-a/N-a with the centered cube? You just don't double with high gammon chances.
