I agree with PersianLord, making your home board is essential.
the only winning chance for blue is to hit & contain a checker

But I also agree with dc-ohio: go for a 'get hit' and try the backgame, because:
your opponent may just bring this home safely

That's why I would play 22/18 6/3: the best of both plays.
