Nothing's perfect of course but the 3-4/within 8% rule is an excellent guide for the trailer to follow. Very seldom will the trailer have a correct cube ats when he only has 1 market losing sequence (no matter how large) and is miles away from an efficient cube. The only exceptions are positions like this where the leader's large gammon threat might give the trailer a small double.
