I would play the simple 6/2 OTB. No need to worry about gammon losses, and if we get the chance to hit a shot, we don't want a blot on the 2. After something like 11/7, we may not cover the 2 next, although we may make a 6 prime. So these plays are going to be very close. Don't play 24/23 - you are not winning this in a race, so no need to step up.
