They tell me I wimped out and passed a huge take with my lead. I cannot stress enough the need to calm down and form a mental matrix of winning and gammon chances!

So here's what happened to me mentally. I was kicking myself for my take at 9-3 when Steve was almost certain to make his 5 pt or have something else good happen after I danced on his 2 pt board. But I actually was correct to take for the reason I thought at the time. He only had 8 checkers in the attack zone. Finally, I over-compensated and became way too conservative with that later pass.

Hopefully I play better in the finals at 11:30 Pacific Time.
