You might classify it that way, but that's not the intent. That's why the rule specifically states that "Merely reaching for the cube does not by itself imply an intention to double." I think a No Double ruling would be clear in the case on the video.

I think the type of gesture that was envisioned is in lieu of actually picking up the cube -- like you see in chouettes, where the Box will move his finger or hand is a forward, circular motion, clearly indicating he's turning all cubes.
