the 3rd checker on the 23 point must be moved to see the edge of his front loaded prime. moving to the 21 threatens the white checker and 2/1* gives you a tempo with lots of duplication. (1s, 2s, 5s). a lesser alternative would be 22, 6 but with no tempo advantage.
