Bear-Off cube decision

The Keith Count will break down when there are major adjustments to be made. (also in short races but they all break down in short races) This problem for example XG tells us it's a bare double and a monster take. What does the Keith Count say? Dead drop with a count of 44 to 44. Way off!
There's no magic formula to let you know which races Keith Count should not be used in. I use it in 90%+ of my racing decisions. I love both its accuracy and simplicity. I've learned over the years though that there are certain positions it will fail, miserably at times. I recognize these types of positions on sight thanks to at home study/trial and error. Insanely gapped or wastage positions certainly qualify as something I'm generally not comfortable using the Keith Count for.
Also, remember you're allowed to use more than one racing count. I'd suggest you pick one and perfect it but once that's done having another one or two in your arsenal is certainly worth it not only for different types of positions, but also so you can get a second opinion. For me, as I use the Keith Count, there may be a position where I'm not positive if it's the best way to handle the position or the final answer may be too close for comfort. In these situations I can apply the EPC and see what answer it gives me, compare the two, and go from there.
