U.S. player sites?

I looked at Ladbrokes' backgammon site, and could not find anything about US players not being allowed to play. On their registration page United States is an option on their drop-down menu for country of residence. I have never seen American players there though. Also, their rake is significantly lower than on all the better known sites, and the rake is NOT rating dependent.
