"Anyway, I added up the absolute Luck(Joker) number is one hundred 11pt matches and came up with and average luck of 2.89. And that number, at least to me, doesn't violate common sense and I find the result satisfying."
Looks fine, I was wrong in my first estimation, the luck in points on average is 6 and it must be divided by 2 (number of points won in 1 game on average), not 1,5.
The problem is you can win with Luck(Joker) -8 if you pass 9 cubes and then you win a backgammon with the cube on 4 so that parameter is completely useless, I don't understand why is displayed in the main window. My opinion is it should be the score difference + difference in Emg lost.
The luck works well enough in MWC but it looks like is quite difficult to compare those 2 numbers, maybe you can do some reasearch in this area. The problem here is you can be on the bar and only your opponent can lose MWC, number of decisions don't count.
