In Response To: 8 problems from Chicago Chouette--test yourself (Stick)

What is the stack and straggler (one!) formula please!? Are there two formulae for that type of positions!?

I have no idea how to estimate the epc for the side on roll! All I know is that the epc must be higher than 7*6+1=43, since the side on roll has 11 checkers (6 rolls) on the board. Any hints are highly appreciated.
