"Easy question. Full Limit Poker - Good players can expect a 1 BB per 100 hand win rate with a standard deviation of 15. No Limit Poker - Good players can expect a 5 BB per 100 hand win rate with a standard deviation of 50. Backgammon - Good players can expect a .18 point per game win rate after the rake with a standard deviation of .21. "
This doesn't make sense without saying the number of games in the backgammon session. Is it also 100? Or is it the number of backgammon games likely to take an equal amount of time as 100 poker hands? Also I am interested in knowing if these numbers are conjectures or based on data.
