In Response To: Frustrating Rolls (Matt Ryder)

I think there's a difference between a "direct shot" and a "direct hit". You're second example with the 53, the 3 is hitting directly from the 13 point, but I wouldn't consider it a direct shot since there is a condition that needs to be satisfied (rolling a 5) first before the direct shot can even occure.

My definition for a direct shot is actually ALL 11 of that number need to work. Just like the direct 7 needs all 6 combinations working...but that's for another time.
