(This the same as the initial post except for a correction of the "extra credit" question at the end -- see blue typeface.)
The popular puzzle Getting Closed Out (solutions here) starts with a stacked (i.e., opening) position and the goal is to create a full prime (closed board). The "Stack Ten" puzzle posted here has the opposite goal. You start with a full prime (seven-point prime, actually) and the goal is to convert it to a stack!
White is Player 2

Blue is Player 1XGID=-aBBBBBBB--------------bA-:0:0:1:00:0:0:3:0:10 Goal: Stack ten checkers
Starting from the position above, each side rolls (alternating and playing legally) three times. Blue then has ten checkers stacked on a single point and no other checkers on his own side of the board. What is a sequence that works?
EXTRA CREDIT
Given the above conditions:
.....(a) Can White be hit during the sequence? If so, how?
.....(b) What is the maximum number of checkers (including both colors) that can be hit?Nack
