I hit with 8/7* to put Stick on the bar and deter him from making barpt anchor or some new inner point. Although we use spare from 8pt to hit lose and have still five starting checker on midpt I like to split back checkers in order to put some pressure on Stick's blot in outfield and to start advanced anchor at least. After hit we are only 3 pips ahead in the race so split is not so clear as it will be with bigger racing lead. If we are behind in race than priming approach with 13/9 will be more thematic IMHO. Additional factor is score. We are ahead in the match and don't need G's to catch up. Match is young but everything counts.

24/20 8/7* for me.
