OTB I had nothing to think about as I knew this was a money recube and I was behind 6-0/11. I slid the cube over to my opp in normal tempo. He thought about it for a while and then passed, which made me happy since he has a clear take. I then managed to win a few more games than he did, and won a tight match.

40 years ago, I spent a couple of days, doing the math for these types of positions and I recalled that I could win this one about 2/3 of the time.

Perhaps a factor in my opp's pass was that he may have been a bit shell shocked since I'd come to the position from at least 60 pips behind and my last roll was a needed 66.
