My advice is to have your mind be especially in tune to recubing when trailing substantially in the match. We always want to be mentally acute to cubing anyhow.

OTB my last roll was 66 and as I was happily taking 3 from the 6 pt and one checker from my 5 pt I knew I was recubing as long as he didn't roll a double.
