Some clocks can give a warning beep at say 1 minute reserve time which accomplishes the same thing. Is it most clocks?

For the clocks with the beep capability is the use of it addressed currently?

It does not seem fair that a player could continue to think about the play with no time being used while the TD is called. Is there a way with the clocks to see how much excess time was used? E.g. player thinks, time expires, TD is called, player makes move after 8 more seconds. The clock is therefore set to 52 seconds more instead of 1 minute more.
