This has been a timely discussion. In about 10 days, I'm going to compete in my first chess tournament in more than 10 years. I expect to get my ass kicked, and that's OK. Beatings are good for one's motivation. Now, thanks to Stick, I know what to say to anyone at the tournament who is foolish enough to explain to me what I can't possibly acheive in chess. I will tell them to kiss my rosey red ass. (I sure hope I get the chance to use this phrase soon. Where's Rory when you need him?)
