Yes, you are right. Correct is the first description: "The winner is the guy who will be the best according to the total MAX and average results."

MAX & Average characteristics are real parameters and show us the real power of the player in the games played.

PR & Luck are virtual characteristics, which need to be prove in connection to the real parameters achieved by player in this competition. In demo version all these parameters (real & virtual) were best by one and the same player. That's why I have mistakenly written the description before. But... may be this connection is real, then after some number of such events we can demonstrate that the best guy with the best real results in the event have for sure best PR & Luck.
