V1 - I have a landing and attacking point in front of White's second blot here, so I'd certainly consider 4/3 but not sure I'd rate it better OTB.

V2 - My incredibly gigantic experience and mastery in backgammon make me HATE the awkward distribution. For example, I have bad small 4s and 3s now. I hate it so much I think I couldn't resist improving it with 4/3.
