At no point did I say that you (Mike Petch) said anything about Rod's right being violated or not. However, the entire thread seems to suggest that possibility and several comments seem to suggest that others believe that might be the case.

It is one thing to argue about laws and what we think they should or should not be in the abstract, but here it is done in reference to or in relationship to a particular case. My point is, we don't know the particular laws and details that apply to this particular case as to what caused the trail to be delayed as long as it has.
