Which is more aggravating & why?

I don't know if this is true. If you look at professional chess players, their level of play starts declining rapidly by the time they hit 35 (similar to football/basketball/etc.) and most either retire from chess afterwards or supplement chess playing with coaching chess, writing books, etc.
