3/2* because you don't want White to escape with a 5 or 6 and be a long way down in the race with only sufficient timing for a holding game. Also, if you keep the 4 prime with 6/5, most non-escaping White rolls play reasonably OK. If after 3/2* you get hit, timing for a backgame will be restored and contact increased. White's three on the ace will be a big handicap.
