Thanks -- you are correct!

I translated correctly but my mistake was with the traditional notation. I carelessly assumed White's move was symmetrical to Blue's 11Q (Quarters, bar/24 8/7*/5). In fact, White's move is bar/24 7/6/5(2), which is Y.

Hence, the sequence is "almost" W, X, Y, Z. Switch the last two and substitute the other highest-counter in Scrabble, to get W, X, Q, Y.
