Whoops, good point! I missed that detail in the original question.

I second the recommendation for the Backgammon Encyclopedia books. I found Volume 2 to be personally less valuable than Volume 1, but a lot of Volume 1 deals with cube decision types that TarHeelFan specifically excluded, so Volume 2 may be more relevant.

Marc Olsen's book Pure Strategy is also pretty good. I found Olsen's analysis to be a little too glib sometimes, but it's still better than most of what you'll find elsewhere.
